Police Raid Medical Cannabis Safe Access Points in Medford and Eugene

Law enforcement and media report that a series of raids were conducted in Oregon on medical marijuana facilities. Warrants were served in Medford and Eugene. The Executive Director of Southern Oregon NORML, Lori Duckworth, is reported to be one of those arrested.

Bill To Add PTSD To List Of Qualifying Conditions For Which Medical Marijuana May Be Recommended Advances In Oregon Senate

The Oregon State Senate Judiciary Committee voted 3-2 to pass Senate Bill 281, which amends the Oregon Medical Marijuana Act to include PTSD as a qualifying condition.

The Salem Statesman-Journal reported on April 10, 2013:

OR House Judiciary Cmte Passes Legalization Bill - Next Stop, Revenue Cmte

The Oregon House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary held its hearing April 2 on HB3371, a bill to legalize and regulate marijuana for adult social use in Oregon. The Committee voted 6-3 to approve the bill and send it on to the Committee on Revenue, which originated the measure.
